Aerial bunched cable replaces bare overhead conductor with insulated cores twisted around an AAAC messenger, which removes the two biggest sources of LT loss and outage — direct hooking and conductors clashing in the wind. UV-stabilised XLPE insulation holds up in Indian summers, and an integral street-light core can be run in the same bundle.
