A DT meter measures what actually leaves the transformer, so energy sent out can be compared with energy billed and the loss on that section becomes a number rather than an argument. Housed in an IP54 pillar box for pole or plinth mounting, it logs load survey data, phase currents, outage events and tamper alarms, and pushes them over GPRS or RF to the utility's system.
