Bifacial glass-glass modules generate from both faces, picking up light reflected off the ground beneath the array. On a light-coloured surface or an elevated structure the rear-side gain typically adds 5 to 20% to annual yield for very little extra cost. The dual-glass laminate also resists PID, micro-cracking and moisture ingress far better than a backsheet.
